PETALING JAYA: Perseverance and experience seem to have paid off for Tan Boon Heong-Hendra Setiawan.

The Malaysian-Indonesian pairing took just 58 minutes to beat Zhang Nan-Liu Cheng of China 21-15, 14-21, 21-17 in the men’s doubles semi-finals of the Australian Open badminton championships in Sydney yesterday.
