KUALA LUMPUR: Badminton World Federation (BWF) deputy president Gustavo Salazar Delgado (pic) is believed to be on the run over an alleged bribery scandal in his native Peru.
Delgado, a winner of 19 Peruvian singles and doubles titles in the 1980s, attended the recent Sudirman Cup in Gold Coast, Australia, last week. But he failed to turn up for the BWF’s annual general meeting (AGM), which was also held there.
