Vivian-Khe Wei stage fightback to enter second round


PETALING JAYA: Malaysian women’s doubles shuttlers Vivian Hoo-Woon Khe Wei had to rely on their mental strength to claw into the second round of the Asian Badminton Championships (ABC) in Wuhan, China.

The world No. 13 were forced to stage a fightback to beat world No. 9 Puttita Supajirakul-Sapsiree Taerattanachai of Thailand 13-21, 21-18, 21-19 at the Wuhan Sports Centre yesterday.
