PETALING JAYA: Malaysia sent four men’s singles back-up shuttlers – Lim Chi Wing, Chong Yee Han, R. Satheishtharan and Cheam June Wei – to the lowly fifth-tier Vietnam International Challenge in Hanoi and all four crashed out in the early rounds.
At least 20-year-old June Wei reached the second round, before losing 12-21, 17-21 to Indonesia’s Wisnu Yuli Prasetyo yesterday.
