Malaysian Open draws 351 players


Old foe: China’s Lin Dan will renew his rivalry with Lee Chong Wei at the Malaysian Open badminton championships in Kuching from April 4-9.

KUCHING: About 351 shuttlers from 20 countries are expected to compete in the Celcom Axiata Malaysian Open at Stadium Perpa­duan in Petra Jaya here from April 4-9.

Sarawak assistant Minister for Youth and Sports Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said that among the shuttlers will be Malaysia’s world No. 1 Lee Chong Wei and his nemesis Lin Dan of China.
