ULU KINTA: Yap Rui Chen (pic)created the biggest upset in the women’s singles at the National Championships, sending third seed Lee Ying Ying packing to reach the semi-finals.
The 21-year-old national discard beat Ying Ying, the 2015 world junior runner-up, 10-21, 22-20, 21-15 in 57 minutes at the Sri Perdana Hall in Ulu Kinta yesterday. She next faces M. Thinaah.
