PETALING JAYA: Soong Joo Ven and Lee Ying Ying were both not first choice picks for the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Ying Ying was called up to replace Goh Jin Wei last month while Joo Ven was only included following Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin’s pull-out on Saturday.
