Jun Hao earns national call-up, thanks to consistent run


Petaling Badminton Clubs Leong Jun Hao returns a shot to his opponent during his teams Junior Purple League 2016 Division 1 match against Bangsar Hawks Badminton Club at the Challenger Sports Centre, Ampang earlier today.

KUALA LUMPUR: Singles shuttler Leong Jun Hao (pic) has earned a national call-up following consistent performances as a junior last year.

The 18-year-old Jun Hao is one of five Bukit Jalil Sports School (BJSS) shuttlers who have been promoted to the talent group under the na­tional team. The talent group is the transition group in the national team. If they do well, they can move up to the back-up squad, Kita Juara project and Podium Programme.
