PETALING JAYA: Former international Chong Wei Feng began his quest for a second national circuit crown at the Kedah Open in convincing fashion.

The 29-year-old, who captured the first leg in Kuala Lumpur in May, thumped unheralded Dinesh Velan of Negri Sembilan 21-12, 21-9 in just 24 minutes to reach the third round at the KBA Badminton Hall in Alor Setar on Wednesday.
