Playing in Group C, Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei gave Malaysia a surprise start with an easy 21-13, 21-18 win over Liang Hua-chun-Hu Ling-fang in the mixed doubles at the CPB Badminton and Sports Science Training Centre in Bangkok on Saturday.
