PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s Olympic chef de mission Tan Sri Mohd Al-Amin Abdul Majid expects a 30-strong contingent to board the plane for Rio de Janeiro in August.

Open water swimmer Heidi Gan is the latest athlete to have qualified for Rio after finishing 18th in the 48-competitor Olympic qualifying tournament in Setubal Bay, Portugal, last Saturday.
