KUALA LUMPUR: The spotlight is on Ho Yen Mei at the Asia Team Championships.
With the Malaysian badminton women’s team hit by the withdrawals of two key players – Tee Jing Yi (singles) and Soong Fie Cho (doubles) – due to injuries - the 19-year-old Yen Mei will be playing first singles, taking over from Jing Yi.
