KUALA LUMPUR: Youngster Ho Yen Mei got off to a splendid start to the year with a breakthrough performance at the Resorts World Genting Purple League.

The 20-year-old Yen Mei exacted sweet revenge over Vietnamese Vu Thi Trang with a 9-11, 11-9, 11-9, 11-10 win to steer Ampang Jaya BC to an 11-8 win over Kajang BC at the Sports Arena Sentosa in Jalan Klang Lama on Saturday.
