PETALING JAYA: Getting a chance to partner Olympic champion Lee Hyo-jung has only served to fire up Chan Peng Soon in his own Olympic bid.

The 34-year-old Hyo-jung was a top South Korean doubles specialist, having won the 2008 Olympics mixed doubles gold medal with Lee Yong-dae. She also won the 2010 Asian Games mixed doubles gold medal with Shin Baek-cheol.
