The duo, who were challenged by national coach Jeremy Gan just few days ago to prove themselves, responded in emphatic style – dumping eighth seeds Wang Yilv-Zhang Wen of China 21-19, 14-21, 21-15 to reach the men’s doubles quarter-finals at the Thailand Open Grand Prix Gold in Bangkok.
