DONGGUAN: FIVE-time world champion Lin Dan is still the ace for China as the hosts got off to a roaring start in the Sudirman Cup.

The 31-year-old Lin Dan, who won the Asian Badminton Championships last month, was given the nod on Sunday to play in the men’s singles ahead of world champion and world No. 1 Chen Long.
