PETALING JAYA: Mixed doubles pair Tan Aik Quan-Lai Pei Jing served up a real stunner in the German Open.

The pair, who were once ranked as high as No. 15 in the world, were on song as they defeated Thailand’s world No. 11 and fifth seeds Sudket Prapakamol-Saralee Thoungthongkam 25-23, 21-19 in the first round of the German Open at Mulheim on Wednesday.
