KUALA LUMPUR: Undefeated Muar City BC are virually assured of being the inaugural winners of the Kopiko Purple League – Malaysia’s first badminton league.

Muar City, with Taiwan’s women’s singles world No. 6 Tai Tzu-ying in their ranks, thrashed Ampang Jaya BC 17-6 for their 10th straight win in the 12-team league on Tuesday.
