PALEMBANG (Indonesia): Shuttlers Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin (men's singles) and Mohd Lutfi Zaim Abd Khalid-Chow Mei Kuan (mixed doubles) emerged triumphant on the final day to push Malaysia’s gold-medal tally to 40 in the 17th Asean University Games.
Malaysian also clinched 42 silvers and 49 bronzes to finish third overall with a 131-medal haul. Malaysia were represented by 322 athletes who competed in 20 sports at the Games, which ended on Sunday.
