KUALA LUMPUR: Scratch women’s doubles pair Ng Hui Lin-Vivian Hoo saved Malaysia’s blushes in the Korean Open Grand Prix in Jeonju with another smashing show.

On Friday, Hui Lin-Vivian were the only Malaysians to make the cut for the semi-finals when they upset fourth seeds Yuki Fukushima-Sayaka Hirota of Japan 15-21, 21-18, 21-8.
