June Wei can win first ‘real’ title in Vietnam meet


KUALA LUMPUR: Teenager Cheam June Wei could get his first “real” taste of success in the men’s singles event at the Vietnam International Series at Da Nang City from Oct 1-5.

A month ago, the 17-year-old June Wei won a gold medal in the Youth Olympic Games at Nanjing – but it was in the mixed doubles event with Hong Kong’s Ng Tsz Yau.
