Asian Juniors: M’sia blanked by China, but still qualify


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia were comprehensively beaten 5-0 by favourites China in the Asian Junior Badminton Championships in Taiwan.

Playing in Group D, Malaysia sent in their second stringers and they all lost in straight games on Monday. Despite the defeat, Malaysia managed to clinch a place in the quarter-finals as runners-up of the group.
