KUALA LUMPUR: World No. 1 Lee Chong Wei underlined his supremacy as the King of the Super Series once again when he showed no mercy en route to winning his third Hong Kong Open title in Kowloon on Sunday.

Chong Wei, who turned 31 last month, crushed Sony Dwi Kuncoro of Indonesia 21-13, 21-9 in a 34-minute lop-sided men’s singles final. It was his ninth win, and possibly the easiest, in 14 meetings over Sony.
