Peter-Gade believes depth in men's singles game will show in World Championships

Although the 35-year-old Christensen holds high esteem for the tournament’s two star players – world No. 1 Lee Chong Wei and four-time world champion Lin Dan of China – he believes that several other players can shine if they take their chances well.

Christensen will be missing in action from the world meet for the first time in 18 years. He retired from the sport and his last match was against Lin Dan in the final of the invitational Copenhagen Masters, where he won, last December.
