PETALING JAYA: Thailand’s Boonsak Ponsana stayed firmly on course for his third Singapore Open title after a brilliant performance in the men’s singles semi-finals yesterday.
The 30-year-old Boonsak was in fine form, beating Japan’s Takuma Ueda 21-8, 21-15 to reach the final for the fifth time. He was champion in 2007 and 2012 and runner-up in 2009 and 2010.
