Koreans in the final despite Dong-keun’s loss

South Korea’s Lee Dong-keun (pic) suffered his first defeat in the Sudirman Cup after going down 21-9, 21-12 to Thailand’s Boonsak Ponsana in 34 minutes in the semi-finals at the Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil yesterday.

The men’s singles loss, however, was just a minor hiccup as the Koreans booked their place in the final with a 3-1 win over the Thais.
