Azeem misses 100m semis but hopeful for relay success


PETALING JAYA: National sprinter Mohd Azeem Fahmi failed to reach the semi-finals of the men’s 100m but kept hope alive in the relay event at the NCAA East Preliminary Round in Jacksonville, Florida.

Azeem finished sixth in his heat to come out 16th overall among 24 runners after clocking 10.20s in the quarter-finals on Friday.
