KUCHING: Kelantan’s hurdler Fakhrul Afizul Nasir was on fire in the Malaysia Games (Sukma) athletics competition.

The 20-year-old shattered the first national record in athletics at the Games when he executed a superb race en route to winning the boys' 400m hurdles gold medal at Sarawak Stadium.
