Shereen’s family thankful for govt’s help in US training

PETALING JAYA: The comprehensive aid package of approximately RM400,000 granted to Shereen Samson Vallabouy to continue her training programme in the United States is a blessing to the family.

Her mother, the legendary middle-distance runner Josephine Mary, described the package announced by the Youth and Sports Ministry as timely after having faced many obstacles and challenges due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic which affected the family’s finances.
