FORMER 100m champion Mohd Haiqal Hanafi crossed the line at almost the exact same instant as Khairul Hafiz Jantan and then pleaded with Malaysians not to compare the two of them with latest sprint sensation Mohd Azeem Fahmi.

Haiqal was awarded the bronze medal in the men’s 100m final at the Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh yesterday after a photo finish which saw him and Khairul clock identical 10.45s.
