Ziyad adds a bronze, as distance runners stumble

FORMER Paralympic champion Ziyad Zolkefli increased Malaysia’s tally in athletics by securing a bronze medal in the shot putt, while the more fancied long distance runners hit a bump.

Ziyad, the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Paralympics champion, registered a distance of 17.30m to finish above debutant Jonah Chang Rigan who managed 16.67 to finish fourth.
