PHNOM PENH: Cousins S. Poovasanthan and Mohd Ikbolasen Md Kamal Hussain used to challenge each other when they were children.

However, they will join hands to challenge their rivals in Cambodia and end Malaysia’s long wait for gold in the men’s long distance events since Brunei in 1999.
