Course in Manila can help obstacle athletes’ cause in Cambodia


Ambitious: Yoong Wei Theng hopes to win gold in the obstacle race in Cambodia.

PETALING JAYA: National obstacle course race athlete Yoong Wei Theng believes that they are currently on the right track to be well-prepared for the SEA Games in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from May 5-17.

The 29-year-old Wei Theng will make his second appearance in the biennial games as he competes alongside Mohd Redha Rozlan and Nuur Hafis Said Alwi in the men’s 100m, and they will be joined by Ghalib Mohd Azimi in the team relay.
