PETALING JAYA: National woman discus thrower Queenie Ting is not disheartened despite finishing out of the podium in the Athletics Challenge Cup in Niigata City, Japan.

The 25-year-old from Sarawak hurled 49.11m to take the fifth place out of nine competitors yesterday.
