Latif leaps to the fore with fourth APG triumph

Jump for joy: Latif in action during the long jump event at the Manahan Stadium in Solo.

PETALING JAYA: Consistency should be Abdul Latif Romly’s middle name as the two-time Paralympics champion continued his domination in the long jump T20 event (intellectual impairment) at the Asean Para Games (APG) in Solo, Indonesia yesterday.

Since winning his first APG gold in Myanmar 2013, there was no looking back for the 25-year-old Perlis-born athlete as he had always delivered for the country.
