PETALING JAYA: Heptathlete Norliyana Kamaruddin has had mixed emotions in her athletics career.

When Norliyana announced her arrival by breaking Zaiton Othman’s 26-year-old national mark of 5,175 points in the 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games with 5,247, she failed to win a medal.
