PETALING JAYA: The month of October will be a special one for national long jumper Abdul Latif Romly (pic) as he will finally get to go back to his hometown in Perlis.
The 24-year-old revealed that he had not seen his loved ones for more than eight months in order to prepare for the Paralympics but the sacrifice was worth its weight in gold as he retained the long jump T20 (learning disabilities) title with a leap of 7.45m.
