KUALA LUMPUR: National walker Lo Choon Sieng’s days as a national athlete are over. The 34-year-old Melaka-born athlete’s contract with the National Sports Council (NSC) ends on March 31 and he will walk away into the sunset after representing Malaysia for 14 years.
Choon Sieng, who won gold in the 20km walk event in the Palembang SEA Games in 2011, failed to qualify for the Philippines SEA Games last December.
