Athletics: Jamaica's Williams escapes doping ban

(Reuters) - Jamaica's World Under-20 double sprint gold medallist Briana Williams has escaped a doping ban for using the banned Diuretic Hydrochlorothiazide, the Independent Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel (IADP) ruled on Thursday.

Williams, 17, was provisionally named in the Jamaica team for the 100 metres and 4x100 metres relay at the World Championships in Doha which start on Friday.
