Woeful: Khairul Hafiz Jantan failed to enter the last four of the 100m at the World University Games.

PETALING JAYA: There was no blistering pace from sprinter Khairul Hafiz Jantan (pic) in his first appearance this year.

The reigning SEA Games 100m champion, nicknamed Speedy Jantan, failed to reach the World University Games semi-finals after he clocked 10.70 to finish fourth in the heats in Napoli on Monday.
