Hup Wei admits it’s highly unlikely he’ll qualify for world meet


KUALA LUMPUR: Former Asian champion Lee Hup Wei (pic) has given up hope of qualifying for the World Athletics Championships in Doha, Qatar, from Sept 28-Oct 6.

The qualifying mark for the men’s high jump event for the prestigious meet is 2.30m but Hup Wei has to achieve it by the end of this month.
