GOLD COAST: Muhd Afiq Mohamad Ali Hanafiah clocked 11.28 to win bronze medal in men's 100m T12 (visual impairment), becoming the first Malaysian para athlete to deliver a medal in the Commonwealth Games in athletics in 16 years.

The last athlete to achieve the feat was Hisham Khaironi, who won silver in the same event at the 2002 Manchester Games.
