Iskandar Alwi shatters national pole vault record

KUALA LUMPUR: Iskandar Alwi has shattered the national record, which he set. in the men's pole vault with a height of 5.31m to win the gold medal at the Federal Territory All Comers Championships on Sunday.

The Johor athlete improved his mark by five centimetres at the National Sports Council (NSC) Training Track in Bukit Jalil, erasing his previous record of 5.26m, which he set at the 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games.
