KUALA LUMPUR: National hammer thrower Jackie Wong Siew Cheer (pic) broke the SEA Games record with a hurl of 65.90m at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil Wednesday.

His effort erased the previous record of 65.63m set by Filipino Caleb Stuart at the 2015 Singapore SEA Games.

The Sarawakian also broke the national record of 65.34m he set in the South Korean Open in June.
