Triple jump record holder Hakimi out for three months with injury

KUALA LUMPUR: National triple jumper Mohd Hakimi Ismail will be out of action for three months after aggravating his left ankle injury during the Malaysian Open Athletics Championships on Sunday.

The Singapore SEA Games gold medallist from Perak first picked up the injury when he went to Kazakhstan for a one month training-cum-competition stint in June.
