Two more golds from track and field at AUG

Nur Shahidatun Nadia Zuki clears 5.50m in the women's long jump

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia ended the final day of the track and field events in the Asean University Games (AUG) in Singapore with a flourish, winning two golds, two silvers and a bronze.

National shot putter Adi Alifuddin Husin’s hurl of 16.33m at the Choa Chu Kang Stadium was way off his national record of 17.54m but it was good enough to win his fifth AUG gold. He had previously won golds in Kuala Lumpur (2008), Chiang Mai (2010), Vientiane (2012) and Palembang (2014).
