Eugene, Oregon (Reuters) - World champion Allyson Felix stayed on course for a rare Olympic double with a solid qualifying run in the 400 metres semi-finals at the U.S. Olympic track and field trials on Saturday.

Still pained by an April ankle sprain, America's most decorated female sprinter eased into Sunday's final with the second fastest time of the day, 50.31 seconds.
