Women quartet blaze track with gold medal in Taiwan

KUALA LUMPUR: The women’s 4x100m team have handed Mala­ysia a golden finish in the Taiwan Open Athletics Champion­ships.

The quartet of Siti Fatima Mohamad, Zaidatul Husniah Zul­kifli, Nurul Faizah Asma Mazlan and S. Komalam Shally clocked 45.53 to win Malaysia’s only gold on the second and last day of the meet in Taipei on Friday.
