PETALING JAYA: First, there was 18-year-old Badrul Hisyam Abdul Manap. Now we have another young sprinter in our midst – 17-year-old Muhammad Haiqal Hanafi.

Haiqal did the nation proud by bagging the sprint double in the 11th South East Asia (SEA) Championships in Bangkok last Sunday when he clocked 10.91 in the 100m final and 21.96 in the 200m final.
