A fruitful day for Malaysian athletics in Singapore


PETALING JAYA: It was a fruitful day for Malaysians in the Singapore Open Athletics Championships as they bagged four gold medals.

National sprinter S. Shally Komalam clocked a season best of 11.82 to upset SEA Games bronze medallist Shanti Pereira (11.84) of Singapore to win the women’s 100m gold medal at the National Stadium on Thursday.
